For this work step we use machine-operated, highly flexible file systems rather than handheld instruments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the mechanical procedure, the channels are shaped (prepared) in such a way that they narrow conically towards their tip. In this way, even more complicated root canal shapes can be cleaned and filled. At the same time, the particles contained within the canals are removed by the rotating movement of the files.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The advantages of mechanical treatment:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-kolling-arrows\">\n<li>Thanks to the higher precision and flexibility of the files, more thorough cleaning and shaping of the infected root canals is possible than with other methods.
